It has been almost a year since Yelp made an announcement about incorporating Health Department Letter Grades into their customer reviews. Although Yelp has this feature available in other cities, letter grades have not yet made it to Yelp’s NY review pages. Why letter grades haven’t made their debut yet is anyone’s guess. However, thanks to a “NYC Restaurant Inspections” Chrome Extension, available for download in the Chrome Web Store, diners visiting sites like yelp.com, seamless.com, zagat.com, menupages.com, delivery.com, and grub hub.com, will have the NYC Letter Grade, along with the inspection date and score show up on the screen. Having inspection data available on the same page allows potential diners to consider letter grades when making the decision where to dine. A consideration, we think is just as important as the menu…Thanks Chrome!
