NYC’s Open Restaurant Program was designed to help establishments expand outdoor seating options and help generate revenue. With almost 9,000 restaurants participating in the Program, constant changes to the rules have made it more difficult for Operators already faced with so many challenges.
To help navigate, The City of New York released a “What To Expect When You’re Inspected: NYC Open Restaurants Program Checklist for Participating Establishments”. Information includes compliance requirements specifically related to Covid-19 matters, common items of non-compliance found by inspectors, fines and violations information based on City and State Agency, along with other relevant links.
