There are 5500 mobile food vendors in NYC preparing and serving food to the public every day.  As of December 2018, all mobile food carts and trucks authorized to operate in NYC are subject to a similar version of the Letter Grade system already in place for restaurants.

Just like restaurants, mobile food vendors will have Department of Health Inspections, during which they will receive points for violations and Letter Grades based on the number of points received.

Decals with a Letter Grade will now be posted on every unit, allowing patrons to see the outcome of all inspections, points incurred, and violations received.

We have specifically tailored our services to assist mobile food vendors comply with the Letter Grade system and operate at the highest levels of food safety.

The is what we do:

  • Prepare vendors for pre-permit inspections
  • Perform mock inspections to ensure that vendors are in compliance and inspection ready
  • Help vendors avoid paying fines for unnecessary violations
  • Attend tribunals so that vendors do not have to take time off to be there.
